Before You Contact Support

Many common email and website issues can be resolved quickly using the guides below.

Web Works provides support for services supplied and managed by Web Works, including website hosting, business email, domain names, websites and related services.

We are unable to provide technical support for personal computers, printers, mobile phones, home internet connections, Microsoft Windows issues or third-party software unrelated to your Web Works services.

We recommend following the self-help guides below before lodging a support request through the Client Portal.

Common Email Issues

Most email issues can be resolved quickly using the following guides.

I Can’t Access My Email Or Website

If your email and website have both suddenly stopped working, it is possible your IP address has been temporarily blocked by the server.

This most commonly occurs after entering an incorrect email password multiple times.

Visit the link below and locate your IPv4 Address:

https://whatismyipaddress.com/

Once you have your IPv4 address, lodge a support request through the Client Portal and include the IP address so we can investigate and remove the block if required.

I Need A New Email Address

If your website is hosted with Web Works, additional email addresses can usually be created quickly and easily.

Simply lodge a support request through the Client Portal and let us know the email address you would like created.

I Forgot My Email Password

For security reasons we cannot view your current password.

If you have forgotten your password we can reset it and provide you with a new temporary password.

My Email Has Stopped Working

Before contacting support:

  • Check your internet connection.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device.
  • Try another device if available.
  • Check whether the issue affects all email accounts or just one.

If the problem remains after completing these steps, lodge a support request through the Client Portal.

Accessing Webmail

Most Web Works hosted email accounts include webmail access.

Your webmail address is typically one of the following:

https://yourdomain.com.au/webmail

https://mail.yourdomain.com.au

If you are unsure of your webmail address, please refer to your original welcome email or contact us through the Client Portal.
